My healing journey began in 2008, two years after having been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  I was on almost 30 medications and supplements per day seeing little to no improvement in my condition.  On top of the chronic fatigue diagnosis, I had significant hormonal imbalances, candida, heavy metal toxicity, Epstein Barr virus, restless legs, almost daily headaches and adrenal fatigue.  I was completely off work for 16 months and part time for 5 months after that.  At its worst, if I could get up and take a shower, that was a good day.  It wasn't until I got on the natural health path that my symptoms finally started improving significantly.  That was my motivation to learn as much as I could about natural modalities so that I could, in turn, help others find their way back to good health.

Fast forward to 2019.  I decided that it was time to retire from the education system which I had been a part of virtually all my life.   After all, from the time I was 5 years old, I was "going to school" either as a student or a teacher.  It was a huge change that was absolutely necessary but did not come easy.  I cried almost every day after having made the decision to leave.  Even after 4 Septembers of not "going to school," it's hard.  I miss the people; I miss feeling needed.  Those who have gone before me tell me it will get easier.  We'll see.

 

Fast forward again to March, 2020.  When the world shut down, so did I.  I went down a deep dark hole trying to figure out what was going on - in the world as well as within me.  When I realized I wasn't going to figure out the world situation, I decided I needed to focus on me.  So I dove into every inner work course that called to me - each one giving me unique keys to help unlock my gifts, my demons and, perhaps most importantly, my soul's purpose here on this planet.  I've done a lot of work, a lot of digging, a lot of crying and, most of all, a lot of healing - mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.  I'm not "done" yet - I don't think we ever get to be "done."  There is always something new to learn, to know, to experience, to dig up and to heal.
